In The Absence Of Grace

25-03-2009

Heaven is so far away from this Hell, Carried by the wings of shadows pain
Why did you turn your back, And leave me without your grace
Fallen so far away from the light, Courage will no longer be by my side
I stand here all alone, Waiting for you to see my need
I'll give my life for you, You'll see the fallen man
Heaven is so far away from this Hell, Carried by the wings of shadows pain
Why did you turn your back, And leave me without your grace
Fallen so far away from the light, Courage will no longer be by my side
I stand here all alone, Waiting for you to see my need
I'll give my life for you, You'll see the fallen man
I had trust in you, no more lies, I end this now, and walk away
So pathetic it's come to this, If you only could see my side
I live with this every day, and the struggle overwhelms me
For the loveless, And for my wake
Only when I close my eyes, And the day draws to an end
Thoughts of you stronger then me, increase my faith in hate
For the child, And for my heart
Only when I close my eyes, And the day draws to an end
Thoughts of you stronger then me, Increase my faith in hate
Always dreaming of better days, Since cast out from your sight
I'll live with the life I lead, And smile that you're no more
Why did you turn your back, And leave me without your grace
Fallen so far away from the light, Courage will no longer be by my side
I stand here all alone, Waiting for you to see my need
I'll give my life for you, You'll see the fallen man
I'll give my life for you, You'll see the fallen man

Face To Face

23-03-2009

Elaine: What do you think, you think I'm making a big mistake?
Jerry: Hey, if you enjoy being with him, that's what's important.
Elaine: I love being with him. I mean, I like being with him. It's okay being with him.
New scene. Elaine and Jerry are at Jerry's apartment.
Elaine: I just don't enjoy being with him.
Jerry: Well that's what's important.
Elaine: I'm meeting him for lunch at Chadway's around the corner, do I have to break up with him face to face or can I just wait and do it over the phone?
Jerry: How many times you been out with him?
Elaine: Seven?
Jerry: Face to face.
Elaine: Seven dates is a face-to-face break up?
Jerry: If it was six I could have let you go, but seven, I'm afraid, is over the limit. Unless, of course, there was no sex.
Elaine: Hmm... How's the pasta over there?

Turns To Rage

22-03-2009

~Apathy is what got me here, I sit around and wait
I watch the world across the room content with second rate
So called friend all pass me by, in and out my space
In and out my face, found another place

I don't know where it is, I just know there it isn't
I don't know what it is, I can feel something's...
I don't know why it is, but I feel something's different
I don't know what it is, something's definitely...

Solitaire, an empty room, the pot is in the bad
Winning seemed so easy when I cut the cards in half
Don't tell me that I'm all alone, I choose the path I take
Choose the path I take, chose to stay awake

I don't know where it is, I just know there it isn't
I don't know what it is, I can feel something's...
I don't know why it is, but I feel something's different
I don't know what it is, something's definitely...wrong

You blink and then it's gone
No one's behind you
And with one sweep, so long
Pass away, one more day
Turns to rage
It turns to rage

Laughing at myself
I'm the poster child for the one man army
Living on my past
Like it got me there where I never been, never seen

Laughing at yourself
You're the poster child for the one man army
Living on your past
Like it got you there where you've never been, never seen
Lost days, new ways, turn to rage
It turns to rage

Annie: Promise me you'll never remarry.
Tom: I promise.
Annie: And no sex, either.
Tom: I'm sorry. I didn't catch that.
Annie: No sex.
Tom: Honey, you're not speaking clearly. Your injuries must be awful.
Annie: No sex.
Tom: Oh, cruel fate to shroud my wife's dying words in mystery.
Annie: [shouts] No sex!
Tom: Poor Annie. We hardly knew her. She'll be missed terribly.
Annie: Oh, Jesus.
Tom: That's right, honey. Go into the light.
Annie: Look! Just tell George, swing away.
Tom: Right. Swing away.
Annie: Oh, sure. That you understand.

Wasted Again

19-03-2009

It’s so long since you’ve been gone
Back to the place where you started from
And it is so wrong and now you’re spun
There is nothing that you haven’t done

And I say you’re so blind
And you will never see
And you will fall beneath the cracks

You’re wasted again
So how does it feel
And it never ends
Do you wanna heal?
And you wonder why
I see you my friend
Now this is goodbye
Cos you’re wasted again

It’s too bad, I did not know
It’s everything that you had to go
And it is so sad you’ve lost the flow
It’s such a crime that you feel so low

And you say that you don’t mind
And you will never see
And you will fall, fall, fall beneath the cracks

You’re wasted again
So how does it feel
And it never ends
Do you wanna heal?
And you wonder why
I see you my friend
Now this is goodbye
Cos you’re wasted again

You’re wasted again
So how does it feel
And it never ends
Do you wanna heal?
And you wonder why
I see you my friend
Now this is goodbye
Cos you’re wasted again

Wasted again

Rental Car

17-03-2009

New scene. Jerry and Elaine are in line at the rental car agency.
Elaine: I'm in awe of his intellect, when he talks it sounds like he's reading from one of his novels.
Jerry: Owen March, I never heard of him.
Elaine: Well, he's not a baseball player.
Jerry: Yeah, that's true. Well it sounds like it's going pretty good.
Elaine: Yeah. Well, there is one little problem.
Jerry: What's that?
Elaine: He's sixty-six years old.
Rental car agent: Next please.
Elaine: Well, go, go.
Agent: Can I help you? Name please?
Jerry: Seinfeld. I made a reservation for a mid-size, and she's a small(pointing to Elaine). I'm kidding around, of course.
Agent: Okay, let's see here.
Jerry: Sixty-six years old?
Elaine: Yeah, well, he's in perfect health. He works out, he's vibrant. You'd really like him.
Jerry: Why do people always say that? I hate everyone, why would I like him?
Elaine: What do you think, would you go out with a sixty-six year old woman?
Jerry: Well, I'll tell you, she would have to be really vibrant. So vibrant, she'd be spinning.
Agent: I'm sorry, we have no mid-size available at the moment.
Jerry: I don't understand, I made a reservation, do you have my reservation?
Agent: Yes, we do, unfortunately we ran out of cars.
Jerry: But the reservation keeps the car here. That's why you have the reservation.
Agent: I know why we have reservations.
Jerry: I don't think you do. If you did, I'd have a car. See, you know how to take the reservation, you just don't know how to *hold* the reservation and that's really the most important part of the reservation, the holding. Anybody can just take them.
Agent: Let me, uh, speak with my supervisor.
The agent goes into an office with a window in the door so she can be seen speaking with someone.
Jerry: Uh, here we go. The supervisor. You know what she's saying over there?
Elaine: What?
Jerry: Hey Marge, you see those two people over there? They think I'm talking to you, so you pretend like you're talking to me, okay now you start talking.
Elaine: Oh, you mean like this? So it looks like I'm saying something but I'm not really saying anything at all?
Jerry: Now you say something else and they won't yell at me 'cause they thought I was checking with you.
Elaine: Okay, that's it. I think that's enough, see you later.
The agent returns.
Agent: I'm sorry, my supervisor says there's nothing we can do.
Jerry: Yeah, it looked as if you were in a real conversation over there.
Agent: But we do have a compact if you would like that.
Jerry: Fine.
Agent: Alright. We have a blue Ford Escort for you Mr. Seinfeld. Would you like insurance?
Jerry: Yeah, you better give me the insurance, because I am gonna beat the hell out of this car.

Back To Madness

16-03-2009

Another winterday is gone
I'm lying here all alone
There are many like me here behind these closed doors

Somehow I lost the way
Fear just led me astray
Deep into the labyrinth of my warped mind

I lost all of my belief
And I felt my spirit break
Through the rain, storm came over me

Back to madness. I go back to sadness
I go back to madness. There is no return

Must go back to madness
Must go back to sadness
I go back to madness
Will I ever learn?
What I don't recall I will repeat

Have you ever been hurt?
Have you ever been abandoned?
Have you ever been truly scared?
Have you ever felt you don't belong here?
Have you ever felt you don't have a home?
Have you ever felt you don't have a chance?
From the moment of birth we are already dying
Death is the only true salvation
Through death man is reborn
Like a butterfly is born out of a caterpillar
And after that, man is finally free

Summon my pride? What pride lies behind blinkered eyes?
Your vigilance is shit!
"The lads together" - you'll fall!
Smug complacency, notions of reserving the right to think with your fists.

I abstain from this mundane apathy.
Committed to "all for red, white and blue" in effect you're fighting for what's really fighting you.
"Grit those teeth, push out those chests" tears only for the flag.
Always the brave patriot as you slip to second class.
But you stand steadyfast?
People are not subjects, why should the few get more respect?

Open your eyes!
Imperialism feeds off you, not patrons but patronized.
Open your eyes!
They're shaping you - you're trapped with "pomp and circumstance"
Lose your discretion.
Soon, you'll not fall from grace endorse their rhetoric you fade, they prosper.

George: Was the alarm on?
jerry: I don't know, I guess it was on. I don't know my alarm sound; I'm not tuned in to it like it's my son.
George: I don't understand, how do these thieves start the car?
Jerry: They cross the wires or something.
George: Cross the wires? I can't even make a pot of spaghetti.
Kramer enters.
Jerry: They stole my car.
Kramer: Who did?
Jerry: They did.
Kramer: Was it more than just one?
Jerry: What should I do, should I call the police?
Kramer: What are they gonna do?
Jerry: I'd better call the car phone company, cancel my service.
George: Maybe you should call your car phone.

Jerry: Are you serious?
George: Yeah, go ahead, call.
Jerry: I don't even know if I remember the number.
Jerry dials.

Car thief: I have no idea.
Jerry: Can I ask you a question?
Car thief: Sure.
Jerry: Did you steal my car?
Car thief: Yes I did.
Jerry: You did?!
Car thief: I did.
Jerry: That's my car!
Car thief: I didn't know it was yours.
Jerry: What are you gonna do with it?
Car thief: I dunno, drive around.
Jerry: Then can I have it back?
Car thief: Mmmm, nah, I'm gonna keep it.

Hold On

You keep your distance,
I can't deny you.
I got the feeling, can't satisfy you.
I got your picture on the wall.
I got the picture while I'm gone.
You keep your wishes, (keep you wishes)
I'll keep my feelings.
There goes along the one that kept me breathing.
I'm waiting for you,
I know your leaving.
I still adore you.
You never need me.

Hold on.
I've found another way to let you go, away.
Hold on.
You've find another way to play my soul, away.

The things you told me,
To hear you speak.
I'm burning slowly,
I'm growing weak.
You bring me close to, yes, the day,
Yes the day's a million miles away.
Why can't you hear me?
Why can't I see you?
And I don't understand what keeps me breathing.
I'm waiting for you.
I know you're leaving,
I'll still adore you,
You never need me.

Hold on.
I've found another way to let you go, away.
Hold on.
You've find another way to play my soul, away.

Hold on.

One

07-03-2009

Is it getting better?
Or do you feel the same?
Will it make it easier on you now?
You got someone to blame
You say
One love
One life
When it's one need
In the night
One love
We get to share it
Leaves you baby if you
Don't care for it

Did I disappoint you?
Or leave a bad taste in your mouth?
You act like you never had love
And you want me to go without
Well it's

Too late
Tonight
To drag the past out into the light
We're one, but we're not the same
We get to
carry each other
carry each other
One

Have you come here for forgiveness?
Have you come to raise the dead?
Have you come here to play Jesus?
To the lepers in your head

Did I ask too much?
More than a lot.
You gave me nothing,
Now it's all I got
We're one
But we're not the same
See we
Hurt each other
Then we do it again
You say
Love is a temple
Love a higher law
Love is a temple
Love is a higher law
You ask me to enter
But then you make me crawl
And I can't keep holding on
To what you got
When all you've got is hurt

One love
One blood
One life
You got to do what you should
One life
With each other
Sisters and my
Brothers
One life
But we're not the same
We get to
Carry each other
Carry each other

One...
One...

Car Alarm

05-03-2009

Seems to me the way they design the car alarm is so that the car will behave as if it was a nervous hysterical person. Anyone goes near it, anyone disturbs it, it's aaaaaahhhhhhh! Lights flashing on and off, acting all crazy. Not everybody wants to draw that much attention to themselves, wouldn't it be nice if you could have a car alarm that was a little more subtle? You know, somebody tries to break in, it goes, "Ahem. Ahem. Excuse me?" I would like a car alarm like that.

And here we go now

Sick and tired of bullshit
You got nothing new to tell
Well I'm running low on patience
So go to hell

Sure these words
Could be left in silence
But I'm taking over this town
Now that is what I said
We'll I've been there
And I've done all that
What goes around man
comes around

Sick and tired of bullshit
You got nothing new to tell
Well I'm running low on patience
Just go to hell

Take my words on this
I'm tired of playing games
So back off and take the pain
And go to hell

Sick and tired of bullshit
You got nothing new to tell
Well I'm running low on patience
Just go to hell

Take my words on this

Save Me

01-03-2009

It started off so well
They said we made a perfect pair
I clothed myself in your glory and your love
How I loved you,
How I cried...
The years of care and loyalty
Were nothing but a sham it seems
The years belie we lived a lie
I love you 'til I die
Save, save, save me
I can't face this life alone
Save, save, save you...
I'm naked and I'm far from home

The slate will soon be clean
I'll erase the memories
To start again with somebody new
Was it all wasted,
All that love?
I hang my head and I advertise
A soul for sale or rent
I have no heart I'm cold inside
I have no real intent
Save, save, save me
I can't face this life alone
Save, save, ooooohhhhh...
I'm naked and I'm far from home

Each night I cry I still believe the lie
I'll love you, 'till I die

Save, save, ohhhhhh, save me
Don't let me face my life alone
Save, save, ooh...
I'm naked and I'm far from home

It's such a shame our friendship had to end

Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
I only wanted to see you underneath the purple rain

Honey, I know, I know, I know times are changin'
It's time we all reach out for something new, that means you too
You say you want a leader, but you can't seem to make up your mind
And I think you better close it and let me guide you to the purple rain

Jerry: Well, it might not be hell but you're gonna run into some bad dudes.
George (checking his watch): Hey, let's get the check, she's taking the bandages off at four o'clock.
Jerry: We have time.
George: It's exciting, isn't it? She's gonna have a whole new face.
Jerry: It is exciting.
George: Of course, not as exciting as miss crop circles, but...
Jerry: Please, please, Isabel? She is the most despicable woman I have ever met in my life. I have never been so repulsed by someone mentally and so attracted to them physically at the same time. It's like my brain is facing my penis in a chess game. And I'm letting him win.
George: You're not letting him win. He wins till you're forty.
Jerry: Then what?
George: He still wins but it's not a blowout.
Jerry: She wants to be an actress. She makes me read these moronic acting scenes with her, and I do it because I'm so addicted to the sex, I'm helpless, I'll do anything. So finally Kramer comes in the other day.
(flashback to Kramer and Jerry in Jerry's apartment)
Jerry (holding up a piece of paper): I don't want to see this woman anymore but I haven't got the will power to throw out her number. Please, help me. Help me.
Kramer (taking the paper and tearing it to pieces): I'm proud of you.
(end of flashback)
Jerry: So I'm never gonna see her again, I'm going cold turkey.
George: Good for you.
Jerry: I'll tell you, the sex... I mean, I was like an animal. I mean it was just completely uninhibited.
George: It's like going to the bathroom in front of a lot of people and not caring.
Jerry: It's not like that at all.

You waste your time with hate and regret
You're broken
When your heart's not open

Mmmmmm, if I could melt your heart
Mmmmmm, we'd never be apart
Mmmmmm, give yourself to me
Mmmmmm, you hold the key

Now there's no point in placing the blame
And you should know I suffer the same
If I lose you
My heart will be broken

Love is a bird, she needs to fly
Let all the hurt inside of you die
You're frozen
When your heart's not open

If I could melt your heart

point it at your head
because you stole all my friends
and you gave me the buffalo blues
Well if you'll be my enemy
I'll be your enemy too

Now from the slime on your tongue
to the nails on your toes
from the scales on your skin
to the stains on your clothes
you're gonna make me have to do somethin'
that I do not want to do
but if you will be my enemy
I'll be your enemy too

My hands are tied
I'm nailed to the floor
feel like I'm knockin' on the
Unknown Door
there's a gun at my back
a blade at my throat
I keep on findin' hate mail
in the pockets of my coat
Well I've been trying to grow
I been coolin' my heels
I have been workin' in the fields
and I can't get to sleep
I can't catch my breath
I can't stop talkin' and I
look like death!
but I will put right this disgrace
I will rearrange you
If you'll be my enemy
I'll be your enemy too
If you'll be my enemy
I'll be your enemy too
Be my enemy

Say What You Think

18-02-2009

But what would the world be like if people said whatever they were thinking, all the time, whenever it came to them? How long would a blind date last? About thirteen seconds, I think. "Oh, sorry. Your rear end is too big." "That's ok, your breath stinks anyway. See you later, no problem, good-bye, ok, thank you very much."

I'm Free

17-02-2009

Im free-Im free,
Im free-Im free,
And freedom tastes of reality,
And freedom tastes of reality,
Im free-Im free,
Im free-Im free,
An Im waiting for you to follow me.
An Im waiting for you to follow me.

If I told you what it takes
If I told you what it takes
To reach the highest high,
To reach the highest high,
Youd laugh and say nothings that simple
Youd laugh and say nothings that simple
But youve been told many times before
But youve been told many times before
Messiahs pointed to the door
Messiahs pointed to the door
And no one had the guts to leave the temple!
And no one had the guts to leave the temple!

Im free-Im free
Im free-Im free
And freedom tastes of reality
And freedom tastes of reality
Im free-Im free
Im free-Im free
And Im waiting for you to follow me.
And Im waiting for you to follow me.

How can we follow?
How can we follow?
How can we follow?
How can we follow?

Genius Plan

15-02-2009

President Thomas 'Tug' Benson: Here's the target area.
Gerou: That's Minnesota, sir.
President Thomas 'Tug' Benson: Damn it, man, that's the genius of my plan. Why go over there to fight? We can do it right here at home, and get in some good fishing while we're at it.
Gerou: Sir, the enemy is over there.
President Thomas 'Tug' Benson: Then we'll fly them over here. Their families too. We'll teach them to skate... Do I have to think of everything?

Never-Ending Story

14-02-2009

Armies have conquered
And fallen in the end
Kingdoms have risen
Then buried by sand
The Earth is our mother
She gives and she takes
She puts us to sleep and
In her light we'll awake
We'll all be forgotten
There's no endless fame
But everything we do
Is never in vain

We're part of a story, part of a tale
We're all on this journey
No one is to stay
Where ever it's going
What is the way?

Forests and deserts
Rivers, blue seas
Mountains and valleys
Nothing here stays
While we think we witness
We are part of the scene
This never-ending story
Where will it lead to?
The earth is our mother
She gives and she takes
But she is also a part
A part of the tale

We're part of a story, part of a tale
We're all on this journey
No one is to stay
Where ever it's going
What is the way?
We're part of a story, part of a tale
Sometimes beautiful and sometimes insane
No one remembers how it began.

Not A Good A Sign

12-02-2009

Jerry and George are at a newsstand.
George: Where'd you meet her?
Jerry: I met her on an elevator.
George: On an elevator? You met a woman on an elevator?
Jerry: Impossible, right?
George: You got less than sixty seconds. That's like dismantling a time bomb. What got into you?
Jerry: I don't know. She was so beautiful, it was like a pure reflex. The words just came out of my mouth.
George: Wow. What'd you say?
(flashback to Jerry and Isabel on the elevator)
Jerry: You know, I'm the one responsible for those crop circles in England.
(end of flashback)
George: Wow.
Jerry: Can you believe I did that?
George: What did she say?
(another flashback)
Isabel: What crop circles?
(end of flashback)
Jerry: Not a good sign.

What's My Name

11-02-2009

What the hell is wrong with me? I'm not
who I want to be
I tired spot cream an' I tried it all I'm crawling up the wall!

What's my name naaaame...naaaame....naaaame....

I tried to join a ping-pong club, sign on the door said all full up!
I got nicked, fighting in the road an' the judge didn't even know

What's my name

Dad go pissed so I got clocked
Couldn't hear the Tannoy so he lost the lot
Offers Mum a bribe through the letter box
Drives you fucking mad

What's my name

Now I'm round the back of your house at night
Peeping in the window - are you sleeping tight?
I laugh at your locks with my celloid strip
An' you won't know who came

What's my name

Admiral Benson: [after his cap blew off and landed in the sea] Holy Cow! My cap blew off! Swing her round. We'll pick it up.
Officer: But, sir, we're on the mission.
Admiral Benson: Good thinking. We'll pick it up on the way back. We gotta mark the spot, though. Put Robinowitz in a life raft. Have him row in circles until we return.
Officer: It could be days.
Admiral Benson: Then put some food in the life raft, for god's sake, man. Do I have to think of everything? We'll tape his favourite shows, he won't miss anything.

I Need You

08-02-2009

All my disillusions are filling up my head
And all of my frustrations are lying in your bed
All my explanations just don't make any sense
Leave me be babe can't you see the tensions to immense
You just can't understand me so you drag me to the ground
But I don't hear a single word
You just can't bring me down
So don't you dare to criticize the way I think and live
All you get is what I've got and all I want to give
I love you I hate you I kiss you I rape you
I cheat and deceive you I leave you
I love you I hate you I kiss you I rape you
And I cheat and deceive but I need you
And I cheat and deceive but I need you
You say you really need me and then you close the door
You say you want to leave me and then you beg for more
Well I ain't sentimental so don't try to set a trap
Cos everytime you hug me you stab me in the back
If you want my body then just make love to my mind
And don't you try to hurt me cos I ain't the hurting kind
I told you that I loved you but you didn't care at all
I needed you to touch me but instead you crushed my balls
I love you ....
I know I said I need you but that was just a lie
You asked me if I loved you but you never asked me why
So now you've got your answer and I hope you're satisfied
And don't you dare to tell me that you ever even tried
There's nothing I can give you that you ain't already got
Cos even when you've got it all you say that I forgot
To give you all my loving and to give you all my time
There's ain't enough for the both of us and right now I want mine
I love you ....

Enemy Toast

06-02-2009

Admiral Benson: Gentlemen, we've waited a long time to hear this. In exactly five hours and 17 minutes, we hit the enemy toast.
Lt. Commander Block: I think that's the enemy coast, sir.
Admiral Benson: Huh? Coast? That'll take a little more planning. But it doesn't matter. Our assignment is to knock out the nuclear-weapons plant at Falafel Heights. The plant goes on line in 12 hours and is heavily defended. Now, if you have trouble hitting your objective, your secondary targets are here and here: an accordion factory and a mime school. Good luck, gentlemen. Blink, take over. Oh, there's one more thing. (admiral gets accidentally hit by a metal pipe with a loud ringing sound). I'll get that. It's probably for me.

I'm Free Now

I'm free now to direct a movie
sing a song, or write a book about yours truly
how I'm so interesting, I'm so great
I'm really just a fuckup and it's such a waste
to burn down these walls around me
flexing like a heartbeat
we don't like to speak
don't talk to me for about a week
I'm sorry, it just hurts to explain
there's something going on that makes my guts ache

I got guilt, I got fear, I got regret
I'm just a panic-stricken waste I'm such a jerk
I was honest, I swear
the last thing I want to do
honest, I swear
the last thing I want to do
is ever cause you pain

I'm free now
free to look out the window
free to live my story
free to sing along

Breathy Voice

03-02-2009

"A woman left a message on my phone machine the other day with kind of a breathy voice. No matter what a woman says, if it's in that breathy voice, you know... "You have cancer" "Really? Sounds pretty good"
The stewardess could lean over and whisper in my ears: "Would you put on your seat belt. We're about to go into a mountain" I'd go, "Really, so what are you doing later by the ruptured remains of the fuselage? How about some peanuts over by the black box? I'll meet you there."
